Torres started his career with Atlético Madrid, progressing through their youth system. Lampard began his career at West Ham United, his father’s former club. He had secured a place in the first team by the 1997–98 season, and the following year helped the team finish 5th in the Premier League, their highest ever Premier League placing. From his debut onwards he was ever-present in the Chelsea first team, setting a record 164 consecutive Premier League appearances. He established himself as a prolific scorer at the West London club and was a key part of the sides which won back-to-back Premier League titles in 2004–05 and 2005–06 and a domestic cup double in 2007. He signed a new contract in 2008, becoming the highest paid Premier League footballer at that time, and scored in his first Champions League Final that same year. He won the FA Cup for the second time in 2009, scoring the winning goal in the final. On 23 December 2009, he was named the Premier League’s Player of the decade by official statistics.In the 2009-10 season Lampard won the Premier League title and FA Cup (domestic cup double) also he had his best prolific season with Chelsea scoring 22 league goals and 17 league assists.
Lampard has won the Chelsea Player of the Year award three times and is Chelsea’s 3rd all-time goalscorer with 158 goals in all competitions, including over 100 league goals, the most in the club’s history for a midfielder. Lampard is the highest goalscoring midfielder in Premier League history with 129 league goals and he’s 2nd in the Premier League’s all-time assists table with 156 assists. Also Lampard completes over 1400 successful passes and has 10 or more assists every season. In 2005, Lampard was voted second place in both the 2005 FIFA World Player of the Year and the 2005 Ballon d’Or.

#8 – Andres Iniesta
Andrés Iniesta is a Spanish football midfielder who currently plays for Spanish La Liga club FC Barcelona. His willingness to play anywhere on the pitch, coupled with a natural humility, has earned him the sobriquet El Ilusionista (The Dreamer), El Cerebro (The Brain), El Caballero Pálido (The Pale Knight) and most recently Don Andrés from the Spanish press. After the 2009 UEFA Champions League Final, Manchester United striker Wayne Rooney stated that he believed the midfielder to be the best player in the world. His current contract with Barcelona runs until 2015. Iniesta scored the winning goal for Spain in the 116th minute of the 2010 FIFA World Cup Final against the Netherlands and was the Man of the Match for the game.

#7 – Xavi Hernandez
Xavi Hernandez currently plays as a central midfielder for La Liga club FC Barcelona. Widely considered among the finest play-makers in the world, Xavi was named the official Man of the match of the 2009 Champions League Final as he helped Barcelona defeat Manchester United to win their third Champions League-title. He was named Player of the Tournament by UEFA at UEFA Euro 2008 and was one of the five finalists for the 2007–08 FIFA World Player of the Year. In all he has been capped 95 times for the Spanish national team, with whom he won the 2010 FIFA World Cup. He is regularly cited as one of the best midfielders currently playing.

Kaka is a Brazilian football midfielder who currently plays for Spanish La Liga club Real Madrid and the Brazilian national team. In 2003 he joined A.C. Milan for a fee of €8.5 million. While at Milan, Kaká won the Ballon d’Or and FIFA World Player of the Year awards in 2007. After his success with AC Milan, Kaka joined Real Madrid for a world record fee of $89 million, smashing the previous record of Zidane, $75 million.

Abou Diaby netted Arsenal's fastest goal of the month when he opened the scoring against Blackpool at Bloomfield Road after 17 minutes 33 seconds on April 10.

JGs get ready... Camping on the Pitch is back
It's almost the end of the season but don't be sad because it means Camping on the Pitch is back!
That's right, Camping on the Pitch - the biggest JG event of the season - returns for its second successive year on Saturday 21st May to give Junior Gunners aged 7-12 the chance to have a giant sleepover on the very patch where their heroes make history - the pitch at Emirates Stadium.
Last year 200 lucky JGs pitched their tents and rolled out their sleeping bags, but this year there's a slight difference as we double that number and welcome 400 young fans for the biggest ever Junior Gunners event!
If you would like to take part and spend the night under the stars at Emirates Stadium all you have to do is complete the online form below and answer this simple question.
Please answer the question correctly and complete the details below:
* = Required InformationThe competition is due to close at 5pm on Wednesday 11th May so hurry to get your entries in. Only one entry per member will be accepted and each member must be entered separately; we cannot accept multiple entries. Please also make sure that you have your mum and dad's permission before entering.
All winners will be notified by email by Friday 13th May and will be required to confirm their place at the event by responding to the email address provided. Further details of the event will then be sent to you including when and where to arrive and a full plan for your night at Emirates Stadium.
Each place is for one child only and parents or guardians will not be able to attend the event. All children will be supervised at all times by Club officials who have been fully CRB checked.

The question of aesthetics versus importance has come up a number of times in our countdown and the debate over which makes a goal truly great will But this strike from Robert Pires sticks in the memory for both.
When Arsenal visited Anfield in October 2003, it was on the back of a poor string of results. After starting that season with four-straight wins, the Gunners slipped to just one win in five. To top that off, they started poorly at Liverpool, falling behind to a Harry Kewell strike. Many were already beginning to raise questions about the Gunners' title credentials.
But a bit of luck and plenty of quality was about to come Arsenal’s way – exactly what you need to win the League. While Sami Hyypia’s own goal gave the visitors a rather undeserved equalizer, Pires' second-half strike was worthy of winning any game.
The Frenchman had drifted in and out of the game, and in fact it he had been suffering through a slow patch all season. But that all changed when he collected Jeremie Aliadiere's short pass 25 yards from goal.
Pires sprinted in from the left before firing an exquisite right-footed curler into the top corner.
His celebration underlined how much the goal meant to him. He was back – and so were Arsenal. Six months later they would be crowned champions.
And this was a big step in the right direction.

JG Easter Egg Hunt
On Thursday 14th April 150 Junior Gunners surged around Emirates Stadium on the hunt for Easter Eggs.
With the eggs hidden in a number of special places around the stadium Junior Gunners tested their navigation skills with the help of a special map featuring cryptic clues. And along the way they even bumped into the Easter Bunny and Easter Chick who were handing out goodies along the way.
Besides all this all 150 JGs were also treated to a special question and answer session with Tomas Rosicky and James Shea at the JG Forum. Pictures from the day can be seen in the gallery below.
